Dr. Hitoshi Iikura completed his PhD in Physical Organic Chemistry from the Graduate School of Science at the University of Tokyo in 1998. He joined Chugai Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. in 2000, where he worked at the Chemical Research Institute within the Research Division. In 2015, he transitioned to Chugai Pharma USA. By 2017, he was appointed as the Head of the Medicinal Chemistry Research Department within the Research Division. Since 2024, he has been serving in his current role.
